...the colors and fonts really have changed. I am warning my regular readers to be patient for the next couple weeks. I have now taught myself just enough knowledge of HTML to be a royal pain in the ass. I couldn't stand my bright-orange standard Blogger template a moment longer, so the fiddling and tweaking has begun.
The template may continue to change in the near future, but not my hard-hitting and riveting prose! Heh.

I like the new color combination. The old one left me underwhelmed.
I don't like the red and green. You gotta be careful with the complimentary colors. I do like the Red and Gold part though!
Maybe white letters on your sub heading under the title would work as well.
I changed the sub heading to white letters, but I'm keepin' the green!
