Weell Keeuhs mah greeuts, Hillary!

Sometimes I hate it when I'm right. Back on January 22, I blogged about Hillary! announcing her candidacy for President of the United States. Among other things, I had this to say:
During campaign stops to the midwest, she will lay on her midwestern twang and talk about her Illinois roots. When campaigning in the south, she will switch to her southern accent that she perfected as the First Lady of Arkansas and emphasize her alleged fondness of living in and representing our southeastern region. Geographically and politically, she has much of the country covered.
Well zippidee doo da y'all! Check out Hillary's southern twang as she stumped before a black church audience in Alabama yesterday. What a pathetic woman she is:

By the way, I will also be waiting for the Democrats and lefties out there to denounce Hillary! for violating the separation of church and state by campaigning in a church. They always seem to get a pass on that one.

Good Day to You, Sir

My problem with Hill in a church is that she is evil and a hypocrit for being there.

Still, there has never, ever been a bigger poser than Bush - the Harvard blue-nose and Yalie from Kennebunckport posing as a Texan clearing brush. It makes me laugh everytime...

I totally agree about Bush. However, it's too late for doing anything about that. On the other hand, we can keep Hillary from ever getting to the White House in the first place.

That was the worst attempt at a Southern accent I've ever heard. Just a few years in the army in the days of Bush 41, and I can do a better Southern accent than that.

And what's so hard to believe about President Bush clearing brush in Texas? Are we nothing more than what we were when/where we were born?

Hi Chanman, sorry this is off-topic, but a while back you left a comment on She's Right about the Vermont tradition of Town Meeting Day. That was today. Our local government access channel has an election blog and people from around the state were posting their TMD thoughts. I thought you might be interested.

Unfortunately, a lot of towns have moved away from the town meeting and now just have regular ballot voting.

Born? How about born raised and educated? Bush's texas persona is a lie, made up, fake, not genuine. Hillary is from Arkansas and her appearance in AL was not genuine, how can Bush pretending to be a Texan be genuine?
It is OK if you buy into it, that is your choice, but it does not make it true by any stretch of the imagination.

So if I ever again leave Sacramento and move anywhere other than suburbia, I'd be living a lie? How does that work?

Only if you act like you are a native of the new area like Bush has done and like Hill is trying to do. They are both fake. You can move - you can not try and be someone you are not.

And how might one do that, centfla? Should I abjure local traditions? Still wear my shorts and t-shirts in December, even if it's snowing outside at my new home?

Should the President *not* clear brush at his house?

Your comment is nothing more than a manifestation of Bush Derangement Syndrome. If the man said the sky is blue, you'd argue it.
