The time: today around 5:30pm. The place: the bottom of the offramp at I5 and Richards Blvd in Sacramento. The sign being held by the bum at the end of said offramp:
HOMELESS AND DRUNK
I NEED A DRINK REAL BAD!

At least he didn't insult my intelligence by carrying a sign saying he was willing to work for food.

What the heck were you doing at I-5 and Richards?!!! =)
When I-80 is socked in, I go to Richards instead because they just completed an intersection whereby you can go from Richards right onto HWY 160. It's more circuitous, but when 80 is gridlocked, it's worth it.
