The Cult of Obama takes a decidedly creepy turn

I have previously posted about the halos around Barack Obama's head that were included by adoring photographers, and let us not forget about the communist-chic campaign posters such as the one seen on the right. Oh, and then there is Big-Brutha Obama in one of his campaign offices. All of that is bad enough, but we are now taking a turn into the land of Absolutely Creepy. The following are two videos made by followers of Obama that truly disturb me; especially the first one. This first video is right out of the North Korea school of filmmaking that shows naive and manipulated children singing the praises of their Dear Leader, Barack Obama. This video was apparently posted at Obama's website, but when the Yuck-factor quickly became apparent, the video was taken down. In fact, it was even hard to find on YouTube. The one I found was posted by an Obama detractor who added in a bit of his own silent commentary to the otherwise original video. Check this out and try not to gag:

And then we have some older Obamabots who in a militaristic fashion, let us know how their lives would not be what they are without their Dear Leader, Barack Obama. I swear to God folks, in my 36 years, I have never seen anything like this in the United States like what I am seeing with this very unhealthy attachment to Barack Obama.

Because of Obama, you are all a bunch of brainwashed loons. Did this take place in a school? If so, public or private? Did it take place in some kind of youth or community center? If so, does it accept public money? And what is with this "Alpha Omega" crap? Didn't GOD say he is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end? Is Obama now a living God? This is scary stuff, folks.

I'm sorry to say, that as things look now, Barack Obama may well be our next president. Judging by the slavish following of this man by his supporters, it frightens me to think of the freedom-squashing legislation he could get bullied through with the full support of minions like what you see above.

Good Day to You, Sir

The only thing that separates democracy (republicanism) from the rest of the field is a healthy dose of skepticism, especially where dictatorship is concerned. Grant and FDR both felt the heat from many about breaking with tradition and running for a third term. Grant listened, FDR did not. In Obamaland, all dissent will be squashed by racism charges and all will be good with the socialist agenda. Frightening to say the least. Most of Americans will not wake up until it's too late. God help us.

My 10 year old daughter is standing next to me exclaiming, "Dad, that's creepy!"and " Oh my Gosh!". I remained silent the entire time. If she can pick up on the oddness of what she just watched, and some adults can't, then I too am creeped out. I really hope the video was just some kind of gag.

The teacher was suspended for insubordination for posting the video; I've read of no punishment for making it. It was created at a school after school hours.

If Obama Wins, God Looks Like A Pussy!

Not my opinion, but the opinion of a pastor giving in the invocation at a McCain Rally..

Sometimes the most interesting stuff happens before John McCain even arrives. At a McCain rally today in Davenport, a pastor delivered an odd invocation.

"There are millions of people around this world praying to their god -- whether it's Hindu, Buddha, Allah -- that his [McCain's] opponent wins, for a variety of reasons," said Arnold Conrad, former pastor of Grave Evangelical Free Church. "And Lord, I pray that you would guard your own reputation because they're going to think that their god is bigger than you if that happens. So I pray that you will step forward and honor your own name in all that happens between now and Election Day."

Excuse me, but I don't see that pastor singling out impressionable children to spread his message.

Nice try at the moral equivalence, but that won't fly.

Shall we add that it is most common to hear the Obama chant at his rallies and the USA chant at McCain's rallies. The cult of personality vs. nationalism - I'll take the latter.
