The planet they would save depends on which planet they are from

Brian Sussman, the morning talk host from conservative radio station KSFO in San Francisco (yes, there are conservatives in the Bay Area!) took a little trip down to Santa Cruz and went undercover at an Earth Day Fair being held in that hippie hot spot.

He went around with a video camera and asked some of the attendees a simple question:

"How can we save the planet?"

The answers, appearance, and vacant cult-like countenances of the interviewees is something to behold. I sat there in disbelief that people like this and people like myself actually live on the same planet.

Behold:

"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free... it expects what never was, and never will be." -Thomas Jefferson

Since we all leave a certain carbon footprint I guess I'll stop breathing. Being somewhat conservative, that is probably their wish, lol.

Hmm I got to thinking after posting... ok I'm a conservationist, thing Ted Nugent style.I do try and eat locally too and recycle. but that's it. See the enviro-mental movement seems to correlate with a zero population growth movement (creepy), control of the masses (creepy) and throwing evil consuming America back to the stone age (creepy). Meanwhile China will drill our gulf oil, some other country...forget who....gets oil sands or something from Utah, 30% of CA pollution is from China, and we're the ones who have to bike to work, live in mud huts, turn off the lights, rid of asthma inhalers that deplete our ozone, buy florescent bulbs and low flush toilets? I'm sorry but if all of America went "green" the earth would not go back to...whatever utopian ideal these greenies have because other nations would damage earth somehow. And besides... carbon dioxide and global warming was sure a problem 65 million years ago. See Stegosaurus drove his Hummer too much, T Rex didn't recycle, pterodactyl liked to light his perch with regular light bulbs and brontosaurus took 10 minute showers. When will we learn?

Tea Party enthusiasts might be making fun of other people, but it reminds me of the saying that while you point the finger at someone else, three fingers are pointing back at you. What Tea Partyists are completely ignorant of is that their so-called grassroots movement is a creation of the Koch Foundation. Citizens for a Sound Economy,Americans for Prosperity, and Freedom works are all front groups of David H. Koch and Charles G. Koch of Koch Industries, Center for Global Economic Growth is tied to Koch Industries through its Vice Chairman, Richard Fink, and Executive Director Wayne Gable, both prominent Koch executives, and a $100,000 grant from the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation in 2009. If you look at their background, they aren't interested in reducing taxes for you and me but for large corporations. Their interests are protecting their polluting industries from regulations that would require them to reduce the pollutants that affect every one of us and they use climate science or fake climate science to ensure that they aren't held accountable. They represent all of the powerful executives from the health insurance, coal, manufacturing, banking, and pharmaceutical industry, as well as the top lobbyist from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which represents large corporations like AIG and Wal-Mart. Do the research about the billionaire Koch brothers and their polluting industries and their connection to the Tea Party movement, and don't be fooled!

Oh Anonymous, that is just your sugar daddy Soros talking. I am constantly amused how you well funded statists project your shenanigans onto us conservatives. Hey remember when your boogeyman was Richard Mellon Scaife? I see the Koch bros are the newest recipients of your two minutes hate. Typical.
