Nice looking place. Get rid of the alcohol on a family outing and it would be perfect.

I am going to open a beer right now in your honor... better yet, I am going to hand the bottle opener to my son and have him do it for me.
Actually, I can be the life of the party. I just don't drink around my daughter. Awful snarky this morning, huh?
And aren't we awfully judgemental? I think the family outing was perfect WITH the alcohol present.
If you don't want me to disagree with your opinion, then by all means keep it to yourself, otherwise, prepare to be countered.
I wasn't meaning to be judgemental. And if you took it that way, then I apologize. I'm just saying that for ME getting rid of the alcohol would make it better. And I don't care if you disagree with my opinion, that's your right as a person and commander of this blog, you just seemed to have taken it VERY offensively. After all, I don't believe that I mentioned anything about you giving beer to your kids.
I just feel that FOR ME alcohol does not belong at functions where there are children, such as camping or ball games. But I know most people don't agree with me and that's fine.
For me, alcohol is much better at a place like, oh I don't know, Snowman Hill with an over-inflated inner tube under you while flying down the mountain at 1,000 mph. Now that's fun.

My son turned 13 last week. I let him try my alcohol all the time--but only when I'm sure he won't like the taste. Is that negative reinforcement? I drank a lot in high school and I don't want him to make the same mistakes I did.
Beer and wine flow pretty freely at his mother's house. I can't see how it hurts to show kids the *right* way to drink, in moderation.
Given the pictures, I assume you are up in the "Goat Sweater" area?
