Whenever statists want to engage me on the health care issue, I come at them from roughly the same angle.
"Food is more important than health care. Let's have a government-run grocery store! The government will tell you what to buy and how much to buy, and will even force you to shy away from those Ho-hos you want so much."
I used to joke about the government building cars, too, but that isn't funny anymore.
