I found this interesting list on the Popular Mechanics website via the Instapundit. It is a list of 25 skills that every man should know how to do.
Uh... OK, I counted, and I am proficient at least 14 of them; 15 if you count backing up a trailer. I have done it before , but it took me awhile.

Well, I can do 11. Sort of manly, I guess.
My husband can do them all but the wireless network. _I_ can do all but 2, my daughter can do half of them and giggled at the list because she has helped frame a wall and mix concrete.
nothing there about cutting a board straight or comforting your child when child is sick or injured? Or, hunting down, killing and cooking some wild animal ? Interesting list though. Amazing what we learn in life.
